More than 8 years ago I had the concern of "how and why can ceramics be cooked in the microwave?" as part of my thesis work to receive a degree in Industrial Ceramics (at the National University of Cuyo, Mendoza Argentina). In 2019 I graduate, at 25 years old.
From then on I continued with the development of a commercial capsule. My objective was always that this development would serve ordinary ceramists - like you and me - who make ceramics with clay or commercial pastes, in our homes and do not have an oven to cook the production.
Mailín was formally born in November 2021, with our smallest capsule, the CR-1A. With a pre-sale that sells out all 18 available units in less than three days.
The objective was clear, to make larger capsules. Thus, in May 2022, we launched the other 5 capsule models, which accompanied us for more than a year.
You kept asking us for bigger ones and that's how the CR-3C capsule was born, which we all call XXL. In July 2023, with a pre-sale that sold out all 20 available units in 6 hours. And in the next 6 months it became the capsule most chosen by you!
Today we tell you that our capsules are in more than 250 cities; from Jujuy to Tierra del Fuego, from Mendoza to Buenos Aires; thus touring all of our beloved Argentina. And on 4 continents: America, Europe, Asia, Australia (and almost Africa).
